An Australian Update for the 2013 Mitsubishi Lancer
After nearly five years, the Australian Mitsubishi Lancer has finally received a major update. The new version of this compact car was launched in the third week of August in Australia with several updates to the features, looks, reduced sticker price as well as the introduction of a new variant. The new model replaces the ageing 2007 Lancer, which has seen its market share in the small sedan segment shrink to as low as 13 per cent.
Three Variants: ES, LX, VRX
Mitsubishi has dropped the VR and Aspire variants to streamline its product line. Instead, it has introduced a new mid-tier LX variant with a host of cosmetic changes and new features.
